Usage

Best time – On a Saturday morning sunrise time.
Steps to follow –
1. Take a wick and rotate starting from your head to toe for 8 times(anti-clockwise).
2. Dip the wick in oil and light it in an earthen lamp. The earthen lamp should be placed on top of flowers/leaf.

Recommended Oil – Pure Gingelly Oil

We recommend the following numbers of wicks for the people who are undergoing –
Ezhara Sani, Saturn Retrograde – 1 wick every Saturday(so 8 Saturdays).
Ardhaashtama Shani – 2 wicks(for 4 Saturdays)
Ashtama Shani – 4 wicks(2 Saturdays)
FAQ

1. How many wicks should I buy for one person?
A. One set contains 8 nos. which is sufficient for a person. Use them according to the nos. mentioned in Usage section.

2. Any other time to light it?
A. Sunrise time on Saturday is the right time.

3. I missed one of the Saturdays, should I restart or can be continued from next Saturday?
A. Please continue from next Saturday onwards. No need to start again.

4. Where should I light this- home/temple?
A. Please light it inside home/at the entrance of the house.

5. Can we use any other oil?
A. Gingelly oil is the best!

6. Who can burn this wick?
A. Anybody can do. But one must do for themselves.

7. What should I do if the wick is cooled off in between? How should I discard it?
A. You can light it again. Make sure the entire wick(including the herbal pouch) is burnt. Only the soot/some ash will be remaining which you can discard in soil.
